This school year, supported by a € 28,200 donation from the Aiutare i Mambini Association has taken place regularly. Here are photos of those students who got their Top Nursery diplomas: The three containers that left at the end of September arrived at the end of November: No problem in downloading of light material: A few problems have been had with unloading the generator and with moving containers: And with unloading the machinery to begin the sustainability program, which is the load-bearing pillar of the whole project: During the first days of November the building that will host the activity of the mill and carpentry began to be built. Its inauguration is planned for the 1st of June, 2010. The above has required a contribution of € 68,000 on our part, which also included € 1,000 for our technician’s travel expenses and € 4,000 for the machinery required for the completion of the mill. This, thanks to an additional € 5,000 contribution from the Aiutare i Bambini Association and to the fact that technician Antonio Pizzi was able to get 3 containers and the machinery transported free of charge. Funds raised in 2009, thanks to a few extraordinary contributions, amount to € 99,695, as shown in the table below:
N.B. Contributions from the AUC also include funds solicited by them.
On the 29th of May a plate of VIBRAM, donor of the solar panels, was affixed at the nursery entrance. A Tale of the Future Summer 2006: travel notes and photos of "Guanda" Back to index of "On Vibram Tiptoes"
