35th A.U.C (Reserve Officer Cadets) SMA COURSE
From the pages of this Web site an appeal was launched to raise funds to buy a generator that would provide the hospital with continuous electric power. The response was very prompt, beyond any optimistic expectation: donations from three sponsors were sufficient to cover the estimated cost of € 9,000. Chapter 2 - The water pipeline. The real cost of the generator had in the meantime decreased to € 7,780. So, the extra money, together with other donations from other Cadets who had in the meantime joined the 35th Course Cadets program, has paid for a water pipeline which brings water from the mountain spring to the built-up area through 18 little fountains spread all over the place. Chapter 3 - And what else…. The constant engagement of the 35th Cadets together with IPDV’s choice of donating the proceeds from the books sold during the Annual National Alpine Meeting of Asiago (Smalp Camp) and the Aosta Cadets Meeting (also thanks the people in charge of the organization of the two “Smalpian” events) have allowed us to close this episode in advance (July 31st, 2006).
We wholeheartedly thank VIBRAM S.p.A., InPuntaDiVibram (IPDV), and the S.GEORGE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER (whose contribution has been included in those from the 35th, although it actually came from a cadet of the 34th) for their generous and decisive donations.
