35th A.U.C (Reserve Officer Cadets) These are the stories we would have liked to include in the book In Punta di Vibram (On Vibram Tiptoes), if we had known about them, and their title would have been A Story of the Future. In fact, from now on, we shall be very proud to not only recount the anecdotes we usually re-tell during our annual meetings, but also to update you about what we are doing to help the people in Uganda who lack just about everything except the spontaneity and the enthusiasm we sometimes regret having lost ourselves. The fact that a competent and trustworthy guy as Guandalini is supervising this project on the spot is extremely reassuring. We know for certain, for example, that all the money we collect reaches its target at zero cost. Also, we are proud to be among the supporters of these projects without being officially in charge of them. By all this we feel encouraged to add new episodes to this beautiful story, which began, like most stories, by chance. To the question “Where do we want to get? We answer with another question “Why pose limits? . At the Kitanga Mission primary necessities are countless, so we would only be embarrassed by having to choose. Let this initiative live on through its contagious Alpine enthusiasm and let us see what is needed by the time new necessities arise. With the help of all of you and us we will probably reach an initially unthinkable target. And we will all be proud of it.
